Susie Burleson
Sales Associate & Showroom Manager
Susie Burleson grew up in Mobile, Alabama. She has a Fine Art degree from Auburn University. After college, Susie moved to Atlanta to work at her Aunt’s carpet and rug showroom in Roswell, Georgia while also working for two interior design firms. In 2013, she joined the Eve and Staron team as a showroom sales assistant and later to become one of the showroom’s sales associates and manager. She currently resides in Sandy Springs with her husband and daughter - Tyler and Laine Burleson.
Wynn Henderson
Sales Associate
Wynn Henderson was born and raised in Atlanta and attended Sweet Briar College where she was an English Major. After college she worked in PR and advertising, as a head hunter and in retail sales before landing at America’s Mart. She spent almost 20 years in showroom sales and as a road rep covering primarily Atlanta and North Georgia. She also has been a Director of Children’s Ministries and still volunteers as a Sunday school teacher. She joined Eve & Staron in 2016 as a Sales Associate. Wynn lives in Buckhead with her 2 children – Addie & Jack, her dog - Pinto and cat - Junebug.
Morgan Schneider
Sales Assistant
Morgan Schneider grew up in Frisco, Texas, then moved to Georgia her Sophomore year of high school. She has a Fine Art Degree specializing in Graphic Design from the University of West Georgia. Before graduating she interned at MMDesigns, an Interior Design company in Florida. In 2020, she joined the Eve and Staron team as a sales assistant. Morgan lives in Dunwoody with her dog, Bean and cat, Ash.
A HISTORY OF THE PARTNERSHIP
February 16, 2011, Eve Oxford, owner of Eve Oxford Inc. said it best in an email to rug maker Jakub Staron by remarking, "It would be great to join forces—all it takes is a little luck, nerve, and of course the main and inescapable creative genius of you—“starbaby“…and maybe a sprinkle of Eve. This could be a formidable combination the likes of which no one in the Southeast has ever seen before. I can’t quit thinking about how much fun it would be to show your cool stuff in this marketplace." Unfortunately, Eve’s untimely passing did not allow her the chance to fulfill the wish to partner with Jakub. However, in keeping Eve’s spirit alive, her husband made contact with Jakub Staron, which resulted in the creation of “Eve & Staron Studio,“ which opened its doors on July 9th 2012, at its original Peachtree Hills location. Whether in the New York metropolitan area, Paris and now Atlanta, J.D. Staron is more than a carpet showroom. It is a boutique decorative studio specializing in the development of unique products. The Staron brand takes pride in presenting the most creative custom carpets and broadloom to the design savvy public. Throughout the year, Jakub travels the globe to bring his designs, artistry, imagination, and originality to his fabricators. He actually works the looms and breaks ground with new fibers, weaving techniques, textures and patterns. Eve understood that "Jakub Staron is the consummate purveyor of fine floorcovering." She knew that when it comes to creating carpets, that "Jakub believes just about anything is possible, since he designs with a craftsman’s skill and a painter’s eye!"
